All materials have their own areas of resistance. The strength at which the material breaks is called the breaking strength. And yield strength is the strength at which material destruction begins. Deformation due to loads less than the yield strength can be recovered. This ability to recover is called 'elasticity'. The best elastic material is rubber. It has good recovery ability. The material does not break in the elastic zone.
The strength of the boundary between elasticity and plasticity is called 'yield strength'.
'I can't stand it anymore. I want to surrender now. The material is starting to shout.
The same is true for humans. Each person has a yield strength. In the elastic region, a person fully recovers mentality under any load. No matter how stressed you are, you will recover again. This is called recovery resilience. (Note: Wikipedia)
When the'surrender' in the mind begins to happen, the mental begins to break up and down. People with low yield strength. In other words, people with low recovery elasticity are often referred to as'glass mental'. (Note: Wood Wiki)
This means that this person has a mental that easily cracks and breaks.
The world is where glass mentality is difficult to live. Good elastic rubber balls can live well. However, it is impossible for the glass to turn into rubber. Anyone born with glass must live with glass. Such people may be living with barely broken hearts.
How many times had I had to'surrender' in my life? CRACKs in my heart I got every time I surrender. When it accumulates, a corner of the heart'breaks' and falls out. It's a lost piece of mind!
In many cases, surrender occurs because of the 'load' felt in life. It would be nice if the yield strength could be increased, ie the elastic region could be expanded. It probably means living with a lower sensitivity that doesn't stress you.
Low sensitivity may help, but it has side effects. You can become insensitive to things you shouldn't be insensitive to.
Your dreams, your love, your people.
Is there any other way to achieve both fineness and elastic recovery? There seems to be no.
